Weh-hay, this is the day.
Been looking forward to this ever since I read about it online.

Stunning (look at the web site). Up to 40 metres above the ground amongst the canopy of the Tingle Tree Forest. Utterly amazing views and a super day trip for anyone. Loved it.
I pushed Betty through the whole thing, and kept my promise to her that I had made when we first decided to do this trip. When you are up near to the top the whole thing sways in the breeze, so it does feel a little like a funfair ride, but nothing detracts from the immensity of the forest around you.
And once you get back down to ground level you can walk among the bases of the trees (unfortunately though, this part is not wheel chair friendly, so Betty stayed in the shop with her new found friend Terry). Mick, John and myself took advantage of the walk though, and some of the bust-open trunks are amazing.

When we kept we set off to see Mick's Golf Club at Rest Point. Spread along the shore of one of the many inlets along this coast it is a very pretty course well used by the locals. Unfortunately the Kangaroos are continuing to keep well away from us, so I am still waiting for my first sighting of one in the wild.
Then we went into Walpole for tea and a scone! What a surprising thing for us to do in the afternoon (especially knowing the sweet tooth that John and I have!)
And finally, after a long afternoon, we headed for home after a detour down to Peaceful Bay to watch some of the fishermen launch for their evening on the water.
What a day!
